This is a hard one. Korby was a huge part of my childhood growing up in Bassfield. Almost like a little sister at the time. Although i moved on and away, certain people remained close to my heart in spirit, Korby, Kamika and cousin Bert are a part of that journey. I can’t be there in person but my broken heart stands with the family in this saddening time. If there is any good that can come from this transition is the we now have another Angel in heaven that we can call by name. Korby may a beautiful flock of doves escort you to your final resting place.

Prayers lifted for the family and beloved acquaintances. Rest well classmate (Bassfield High School, Class of 1984). And we know if our earthly house were dissolved, we have (another) building, not made with hands, eternal in the heavens…2Corinthians5:1.

“According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.” ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4‬:‭15‬-‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬ My heart is truly with you, Alexandria, Ashley, Arrianna and Willie during this difficult time. I’m so sorry for your loss. They say God chooses His most precious flowers to be part of His heavenly bouquet, and although it’s hard to understand why, I pray you find comfort knowing that her love and beautiful memories will forever remain in your hearts. May God wrap His loving arms around you all, giving you strength, comfort, and peace in the days ahead. Please know you’re all in my thoughts and prayers. Sending you so much love. Love always, Mary “Miss Chelle” Wilks and Family…
